The 2026 Canberra Raiders Indigenous Jersey features artwork by local artist Annalise
Hanger.
The front of the jersey honours the Ngunnawal ancestors and the seven clans –
Maloongoola, Biyaligee, Namitch, Cumbeyan, Kanberri, Toogoranoongh, and Woolobaloah
while highlighting the matriarchal power of women as creators, healers and knowledge
holders.
Back of Jersey elements feature the Maliyan (wedge-tailed eagle) totem watching over
Country, surrounded by native plants. Below that are the Molonglo, Cotter, and Queanbeyan
Rivers flowing into the Murrumbidgee River, a central element in Ngunnawal
culture, songlines, and traditions.
