This artwork honours the men, women and youth united by the Knights, bound by shared dreams and cultural connection. It celebrates Indigenous players who proudly carry the spirit of their nations and communities onto the field.
SHIELD OF STRENGTH AND IDENTITY The central shield blends traditional and modern elements, symbolising cultural pride, protection, and personal strength.
UNITY AND BELONGING ON COUNTRY The circular meeting places within the design represent the Newcastle Knights team uniting on Awabakal Country. These symbols reflect gathering spaces — physical, cultural, and spiritual — where people come together to share knowledge, culture, and healing.
LEGACY AND HEART The hint of gold reflects deep cultural identity symbolising strength, connection, and legacy.
